How was the coach that most inspired you or had the biggest impact on your life?
Coach Ashley Duke, he was my assistant basketball coach my Sophomore through Senior year and is my go-to on and go the court. He has always been there for me if I had any questions or needed help and has always been honest whenever I ask for his opinion. He overall just has my best interest at heart and I appreciate him and trust him because of this. He has made a significant impact in both sports as well as in my life in general.
If you could have any superpower what would it be and why?
If I had to choose just one I would want to fly. You could be like a bird and fly whenever you wanted wherever you wanted. Having the ability to just take off and leave would be amazing and way easier than planning a trip in the car or plane and also cheaper.
What advice would you leave for underclassman?
I would tell them to appreciate every moment you have to play the sports you love and never take anything for granted because this will not last forever but will be some of the best memories you have with some of your best friends.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was 8 I wanted to be a lawyer, however in middle school and high school my interest changed between English, psychology, and medicine. This year I fell back in love with the idea of studying pre-law and I believe this will be what I decide to study in college.
What is your favorite show or movie that you have been watching?
My guilty pleasure is GLEE, I like it cause I can sing every song even though I can’t personally sing at all but I love music and GLEE is full of songs. However, I am a huge binge watcher so this is just one of many songs I am watching right now.
